Håfa Adai, Tritons!

It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I extend my warmest greetings to each one of you as we embark on a new academic year at the University of Guam.

This academic year has a special meaning for me as I begin my voyage as President of the University of Guam.

This year holds promise, not only in terms of rigorous academic pursuits but also in enriching experiences and transformative learning opportunities. Whether you are a returning student or a newcomer to our University Community, I encourage you to seize every chance to explore new horizons, to engage in spirited discussions, and to embrace challenges that will inspire your personal growth and intellectual curiosity.

In the 2023-2024 Undergraduate Catalog and Graduate Bulletin, you will find a road map for your academic journey with details of the course requirements for each of the 25 undergraduate, 16 graduate, 31 minor, and 14 certificate programs available for you to pursue at UOG.

This institution has a long-standing commitment to academic excellence, research, and community engagement. Over the years, the University of Guam has transformed countless lives, fostering a generation of leaders and scholars who have made meaningful contributions to our island, the region, and the world.

At the heart of our university lies a spirit of inclusion through our cultural values of Inadahi yan Inagoflie’, fostering a vibrant campus community where every individual is valued, respected, and celebrated. We embrace the rich diversity of our students and take pride in the mosaic of cultures that make the University of Guam a truly exceptional place to learn and grow.

I invite each one of you to explore the myriad opportunities that await you at the University of Guam. Together, let us make this academic year one of discovery, growth, and success.

Thank you for being an integral part of the University of Guam family, and I wish you all an inspiring and fulfilling academic year.
