ABOUT SBPA

The University of Guam School of Business and Public Administration prepares students for leadership roles in the dynamic business and public sectors of Guam and the broader Pacific region. Accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) and the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA), the School delivers academic programs grounded in both theoretical foundations and practical application, developing leaders equipped to address the complex challenges facing modern organizations.

Our comprehensive curriculum integrates global best practices with deep understanding of regional economic, cultural, and governmental contexts. Faculty members bring extensive professional experience and scholarship to create learning environments that emphasize critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and effective communication. ADMISSION AND OTHER PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

Prior to acceptance into any SBPA undergraduate degree program, students must have:

Must have at least a cumulative 2.0 GPA;
Must have completed EN-111 and MA-110 or MA115, MA-161a/b, or MA-165 with a grade of “C” or better in both classes before enrolling in upper-division courses;

In addition to the above admission requirements, students must also comply with the following program requirements:

Declared BBA majors are required to maintain at least a 2.7 GPA to take upper-division coursework in the General Business pathway; at least a 3.3 GPA to take upper-division coursework in the Business Professional pathway; and at least a 3.7 GPA to take upper-division coursework in the Business Honors pathway;
Students must maintain a 3.0 or above GPA in accounting major requirements and overall GPA.
For BBA, BSCJ, and BSPA degree programs, must earn a grade of “C” or better in major required coursework to include Foundation requirements.
